What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are the earliest stage of a vegetable plant’s development, after the sprouting stage. This stage usually lasts 4-18 days. They are “living foods”. Purposefully utilized in their most nutritious and delicious phase of growth.

How do you eat Microgreens?

Anything you can do with lettuce or spinach can be done with Microgreens. Eat them straight, add to a salad, sandwich, wrap, burger, taco, soup, smoothie, eggs, garnish

How does your home delivery system work?

Placing a microgreens order:

1.) Go to www.narrowpathfarm.net

2.) Click the "Order Now" button

3.) Choose the items and quantities you want for your order

4.) Choose the frequency of your deliveries: weekly / bi-weekly / no thanks…just this once

5.) Submitting the order notifies us to send a payment link and set up delivery details

6.) A pre-delivery reminder will be sent out at 6:00pm one day prior to delivery day, which is Thursdays for Beaufort and Fridays for Bluffton

7.) Set out your cooler with a small icepack in the morning on delivery 

8.) On delivery day, customers will be sent a notification for delivery when we are less than 30 minutes from arrival

9.) Customers will also be notified when the delivery has been made

10.) Enjoy your microgreens!

What if I need to pause my subscription, or skip a week?

1.) Need to skip a week?…Just let us know and we will skip your delivery and refund you the cost since each order is pre-paid.

2.) Need to pause?…Just let us know. We will cancel your current subscription and send a new link to start back on a specific date if desired.

Where is your farm?

We are in Varnville, SC. About ten miles west of Yemessee and Hwy 95

Do you spray any chemicals on your microgreens?

No, we use organic seed, soil, and fertilizer products

Are your products organic?

Yes, but we are NOT USDA certified. So what does that mean exactly?

1.) Our soil is organic! ProMix MP brand. An OMRI approved product: https://a.co/d/dszXPon

3.) Our seed is organic and non-gmo! Mostly bought from Johnny’s Select Seeds. Some seed is from True Leaf Market or Mumm's Sprouting Seeds

What is the shelf-life of microgreens?

One to two weeks from harvest.

Are your products available year-round?

Yes. Our microgreens are available year-round because they are grown indoors with a climate controlled environment. Plus they are planted and harvested fresh every week.

Are your containers recyclable?

Yes!

Do you reuse the containers?

No, we only use brand new containers.

Are your microgreens grown in soil?

Yes, we grow our greens in a peet moss based organic growing medium called ProMix MP. We source it in bulk from a Hydroponic store in Charleston called Green Spirit Hydrogardens. Link to product here: https://a.co/d/dszXPon

Are your products grown in a greenhouse?

No. But they are grown indoors. Our current growing space is a 12 x 20 shed that is well insulated, dry-walled, and painted.  Microgreens are grown in 10" x 20" trays on wire racks. Five shelves per rack. All shelves have LED growing lights.
